Self Assessment Checklists
Going through a checklist every month or so can be a great way to ensure that your business is completing all of its environmental legislative requirements and best practices.
It also means that you are putting aside time to think of new, more efficient ways of doing things or identifying any areas where unnecessary waste is produced. Self Assessment Checklists can also be delegated to a staff member to be responsible for, and results can be discussed at Staff Meetings or Toolbox Sessions. Having your checks in writing is also a great way to demonstrate to your Local Council your ongoing environmental performance in the situation of an audit.
If you would like the MTA to visit your business for a free and confidential Envirocheck, please contact the MTA to arrange this.
